Erebus Motorsport’s Jack Le Brocq unleashed a savage burn of rival driver Tim Slade on the team radio after Slade held him up as he tried to make up ground on third placed Will Brown.
Le Brocq was stuck behind Slade on laps 127 and 128 as he tried to overtake and the PremiAir Racing driver’s refusal to provide enough space for the fourth placed Le Brocq to get through sparked outrage on and off the track.

“F–k me,” Le Brocq said on the team radio.
“No wonder he hasn’t got a gig next year!”
As the pair climbed the Mountain, Le Brocq made his frustrations known with Mark Skaife saying on the Fox Sports coverage that “he’s ended up just resting the bumper bar on him”.
“He’s getting more and more frustrated.”
When news came through that Slade would not receive a blue flag, Le Brocq once again did not hold back with his language.
“It’s bulls—,” he said.
The tensions spilled into pit lane as well as Erebus Motorsport team boss Barry Ryan was later seen stalking back from Tim Slade’s garage where it was confirmed “words were exchanged”.
“He came down here and sprayed the entire engineering team,” Chad Neylon reported from the pits.
There have been many frustrations with slow cars today – Broc Feeney was held up as was James Moffat by Matt Chadha who almost rear ended him in that near-miss.
