Harry Sheezel equaled the all-time disposals record with 54 in North Melbourne’s dominant 48-point win over Richmond.
Sheezel joined Tom Mitchell as the only player to record 54 touches in league history, with the rising Kangaroos star adding two goals, seven marks, five tackles and 688 metres gained.
North put its foot down with a dominant eight-goal third term to set up the 20.15 (135) to 13.9 (97) win at Tasmania’s Ninja Stadium.

STATS: North Melbourne v Richmond live scores, stats and updates
“Harry Sheezel has been the one — he has had a day out!,” Kangaroos great David King said at half-time.
“28 disposals in a half of football. They’ve only scored 17 times (in the first half) the Kangaroos, and he’s been involved in nine of them.”
It saw North Melbourne pick up fifth win of the season and jump Richmond in 16tgh place on the ladder with one game left in the home and away season.
The only downside of the day for North was injury concerns to Cam Zurhaar (knee) and George Wardlaw, while Richmond’s Nick Vlasutin was also struck down with an ankle issue.
“That left leg is not meant to bend like that,” Fox Footy commentator Corbin Middlemas said of Zurhaar.
Two-time North Melbourne premiership player David King added: “From a game point of view, and I know he’s only had the two disposals and a goal, but he looked like the wildcard in the forward line, didn’t he?”
The 27-year-old was subbed out soon after, and was seen with crutches upon returning to the bench in a tracksuit.
MORE TO COME.
