Lachlan Galvin has reportedly confirmed his NRL future, signing with the Bulldogs — but there’s a catch.
According to Code Sports, the 19-year-old’s drawn out contract saga has come to an end, putting pen to paper on a contract until the end of the 2028 season.
Galvin will reportedly make an immediate switch and could be set to join his new teammates as early as Thursday, with his salary reportedly averaging out to be $750,000 per-season.

The Bulldogs will reportedly hold off formally announcing his signing until after the State of Origin series opener on Wednesday.
However, Galvin’s release from his current Tigers contract reportedly hinges on a non-disparagement clause being included.
That clause would legally stop Galvin from discussing the situation surrounding his exit from the merger club and the Bulldogs are reportedly supportive of the Tigers’ demands.
Canterbury will reportedly pay a $175,000 release fee to secure the rising star’s services.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Galvin had reportedly decided to join the Eels last Friday before backflipping on that decision.

His change of heart reportedly came after a speaking with assistant coach Luke Vella, who is one of his closest mentors after Galvin was coached by him during his high school days.
Galvin’s $750,000 Bulldogs salary is reportedly more than what Parramatta was offering, with Jason Ryles desperate to secure the young gun’s signature.
Interestingly, Galvin is set to line up against the Eels in his first game for the Bulldogs in Round 15.
