Tigers five-eighth Lachlan Galvin is reportedly set to go to market with his management informing rival clubs to get their cheque books ready come November 1.

Galvin is contracted for 2025 on a deal worth $250,000 which jumps to $350,000 in the final year of his contract in 2026, but he is free to negotiate with rivals from November 1.
The Tigers have been open to signing Galvin to a long-term deal as long as 10 years to keep him at the club for life, but the star No.6 is yet extend his deal beyond 2026.
The Sydney Morning Herald’s Michael Chammas, revealed on Channel 9’s 100% Footy that Galvin and his agent, Isaac Moses, were continuing to brush off the Tigers in the club’s bid to lock him down long-term.
“Lachie Galvin is in no rush to commit to the Wests Tigers and management is out there basically letting it be known to every club, ‘Get your cheque book ready because we’re hitting November 1’,” Chammas said.
“I imagine there’ll be plenty of suitors lining up with that cheque book.”

The 19-year-old has scored four tries in 23 games for the Tigers since his debut in 2024 and has been earmarked as a representative player of the future after captaining the Australian schoolboys.
Phil Gould has backed Galvin to win multiple premierships, while Billy Slater believes he could swap with Jarome Luai and be the dominant half at the Tigers.
Galvin is a potential target for the Eels after their five-eighth Dylan Brown’s $13 million switch to the Knights.
Galvin is an Eels junior, who could opt to return to his former club if the price is right and the Tigers are priced out of the market.

ROOSTERS TARGET WANTAWAY DRAGONS STAR
The Sydney Roosters have emerged as a potential landing spot for disgruntled Dragons prop Francis Molo.
The Daily Telegraph reported the Roosters have shown interest in Molo, who is negotiating a release from the Dragons after a falling out with a staff member.
The Roosters were blown apart by the Broncos in Round 1 and are desperate to sure up their middle.
The Dragons meanwhile, are trying to offload Molo to sign Tigers prop David Klemmer to bolster their front row stocks.
The Dragons were blown away by the Bulldogs early in their Round 1 loss and need reinforcements in the pack with Molo unavailable while he sorts his release.
The 30-year-old Molo has scored 10 tries in 138 NRL games for the Broncos, Cowboys and Dragons since his debut in 2014 and would give the Roosters much needed grunt up front after the departures of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Terrell May.
The Dragons are waiting for Molo to repay a significant amount of money that was advanced to him last year, before releasing him to allow Klemmer to join their ranks.
