At the time, police were responding to reports of a man obstructing traffic.
On Monday, prosecutors withdrew a separate charge of wilfully preventing free passage of person/vehicle.
Sailor spent the night in custody following his arrest, and appeared in Bail Court via videolink Wollongong Police Station.
The incident was a result of “difficulties” in his personal life, including the breakdown of the dual-code international’s 28-year marriage, his lawyer told his bail hearing in December.
He was ultimately released on bail.
Sailor, who played for the Broncos and Dragons, will appear in court for sentencing on March 23.
