The North Queensland Cowboys have had all the ball so the Titans are doing well to limit the score to 16-0 at half time in Townsville.
Cowboys centre Zac Laybutt made the Titans defence look silly when scoring the first try of the day, but his afternoon was soured when he had to be helped off the ground with a suspected leg injury.
Fox League’s Brent Tate reported that Laybutt has suffered a knee injury and “won’t be back”.

MATCH PREVIEW
The Titans are desperate to break their duck for 2024 in this Queensland derby but it will be a tough task against the Cowboys at home.
Both teams look like they’ll line up 1-17 but dropped Cowboys forward Thomas Mikaele is currently the 18th Man and could come into calculations in a late switch.
Titans superstar David Fifita is on the bench but could come into the starting side after playing 55 minutes off the bench in his return from injury against the Dolphins last week.
Teams will be finalised an hour before kick-off.
North Queensland are chasing a bounce back win after they were embarrassed by long-time rivals the Broncos last week.
Gold Coast coach Des Hasler is still chasing his first win since joining the club after enduring one of the worst starts (0-3) to his decorated career.
