Souths star Latrell Mitchell has been placed on report for a “swinging elbow” to the face of Warriors half Shaun Johnson.
The Rabbitohs and Warriors have exchanged early tries at Accor Stadium with the visitors ahead 6-4 after 25 minutes.
Mitchell was cited in the 19th minute after what can only be described as a brain fade after the fullback extended his elbow and connected with Johnson’s face as the Warriors star came over to make a tackle.
“It’s little more than a forearm, it’s almost like a swinging elbow. Latrell’s lucky he’s not sitting in the bin for 10 minutes,” Greg Alexander said on Fox League.

MATCH PREVIEW
There have been some late changes for this clash between the Rabbitohs and Warriors at Accor Stadium.
Souths coach Jason Demetiou has moved young gun hooker Peter Mamouzelos to the bench in place of Davvy Moale.
“(The Warriors are) a big pack and we want to have some threat through that middle third and Pete’s been outstanding as he has been for the last 18 months banging on the door,” Demetriou said on Friday.
Warriors star Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and replaced on the wing by Adam Pompey.
Marata Niukore is also out due to a foot injury sees Mitchell Barnett move to the second row and Bunty Afoa come into the starting side, while Chanel Harris-Tavita also joins the bench.
