Australia has already made Milan-Cortina 2026 its greatest Winter Olympics ever, but will try and add a record-extending fourth gold medal tonight in the men’s dual moguls.
The dual moguls, a new Olympic event, pits skiers in a one-on-one battle in a tournament format.

Jakara Anthony, one of Australia’s flag-bearers and the 2022 moguls gold medallist, bounced back from her painful loss in the moguls final last week to win dual moguls gold on Saturday night.
In the process she became the nation’s first dual gold medallist and now Australia will look to sweep the event.
Cooper Woods stunned the world in the regular version of the moguls and could now become the first Aussie to win two gold medals at the same Winter Games.
Woods earned a bye into the round of 16 while Jackson Harvey, George Murphy and 2018 moguls silver medallist Matt Graham must compete in the first round this evening (from 8:30pm AEDT).
Woods and Graham, who celebrated wildly together after the former won moguls gold, could face each other in the quarter-finals.
Australia’s current medal tally of three golds and one silver is the nation’s greatest ever performance, just ahead of Beijing 2022 (one gold, two silver, one bronze) and Vancouver 2010 (two gold, one silver).
Woods, Anthony and Josie Baff (snowboard cross) are the gold medallists while Scotty James won silver in the halfpipe.
Australia has never won five medals in the same Winter Olympics.
