The Panthers have reportedly spoken to Brian To’o after the star winger made a series of lewd comments about his teammates’ wives and girlfriends.
To’o has caused a stir after sharing several pictures on his Instagram stories.
Those pictures showed his teammates winning various honours at Penrith’s annual awards night on Tuesday. However, rather than congratulating them on their achievements, the 27-year-old wrote demeaning and sexual remarks about their partners.
As first reported by Code Sports, To’o has now expressed remorse for his comments.

To’o’s social media posts have since expired since individual stories are only live for 24 hours.
According to the report, To’o will take the field when the Panthers face the Warriors in Saturday’s elimination final. However, the New South Wales winger may still face further sanctions as a result of his rogue behaviour.
In those posts shared with his 345,000 followers, To’o mentioned Nathan Cleary’s partner, Matildas superstar Mary Fowler, Scott Sorensen’s wife Elle, Matt Eisenhuth’s wife Holly, breakout star Tom Jenkins’ partner Jess and NSW Cup player of the year Luke Sommerton’s partner Keira.
Instagram users described the posts as “gross” and “embarrassing,” calling for him to respect their partners.
When news.com.au reached out to the Panthers about the incident, they declined to make a public comment.
