Steve Smith lasted just three deliveries as Australia face New Zealand in the third and final T20I against New Zealand at Eden Park.
Australia is 3/95 midway through the ninth over with Travis Head (32*) and Josh Inglis (0*) at the crease as New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first, with play halted due to rain.

Smith was sent packing for just four runs off three balls when he leaned back and tried to edge an Adam Milne delivery over the slips cordon.
Instead, the Aussie star edged the ball straight into the gloves of Kiwi wicketkeeper Tim Seifert.
With Smith’s place in the Australian T20 World Cup squad not guaranteed, it was not the performance he was hoping for in his final audition.
New Zealand could and perhaps should have had their second wicket when Head tried to cut a ball from Ben Sears and it flew straight into the hands of Josh Clarkson, but he couldn’t hold on.

Head was given a third life when he was dropped by Ish Sodhi at short fine leg after the Aussie flicked a fine Sears delivery straight to him.
Thankfully for the Kiwis, Seifert managed to hold onto the ball when Matt Short skied the it high into the air to bring an end to his 27-run, 11-ball cameo.
Like Short, Glenn Maxwell made a quick impact as he blasted 20 runs from eight deliveries before he flicked a ball from Josh Clarkson to Will Young and was sent packing.
