As expected Adem Yze’s Tigers look much younger, with veteran star Tom Lynch lining up alongside No.1 pick Sam Lalor in the forward line, as fellow draftees Luke Trainor and Harry Armstrong also earn spots in the 23.
There’s no space for Maurice Rioli even with a 2017-style smaller forward line surrounding Lynch.

At Carlton, Jack Silvagni makes his return after a 600-day injury lay-off, with debutant Lucas Camporeale claiming a starting wing spot opposite Blake Acres.
Nick Haynes and Francis Evans make club debuts with 2024 mid-year draftee Cooper Lord and veteran Sam Docherty also on the bench.
With no Charlie Curnow, it’s left to Brodie Kemp to partner Harry McKay as the second tall up forward.
