Roosters enforcer Nathan Brown has sensationally been sent off for a high shot on Manly forward Ben Trbojevic during the Tricolours’ 26-16 win at the SCG.
Brown launched with speed and collected the head of Trbojevic with his arm in an ugly second half collision.
“He might get sent off here,” Steve Roach said after watching the replay of the incident.

Referee Ashley Klein was of the same opinion, swiftly giving Brown his marching orders.
“The issue is you’ve run out of the line with intent there, you’ve left the ground, you are off. Made contact with the head,” Klein said.
The call enraged Roosters captain James Tedesco.
“James Tedesco is still approaching the referee to chat further about the send off decision but as you saw, the speed he came out of the line was a very big factor here in deciding this immediate sentence for Nathan Brown,” Warren Smith said on Fox League.
“I thought it may have been a bad one if it’s hit him right on the chin with that bicep,” Roach added.
Brown’s send off turned the game into a 12 on 12 for eight minutes after Manly forward Toafofoa Sipley was sin binned for repeated infringements.
“It’s probably a silly play… I love aggression, but get your target,” Gorden Tallis said post game.
“He hits him in the head, he races out to hit him.”
