The NRL has revealed that Teddy Swims will headline the 2025 NRL and NRLW Grand Final entertainment.
The Grammy nominated star, known best for his “nine-time platinum hit” ‘Lose Control’ which has racked up almost 4 billion streams globally.
The American artist also holds the record for the longest Hot 100 run in history, with his popular tune still sitting in the charts to this day, 100 weeks after its original release.

“I am so excited to be performing at the 2025 NRL Grand Final. Australia has always been a second home to me,” he said in a statement.
“Every time I am there I am overwhelmed by how welcoming the people are, I fall more in love with the culture, and just everything about it.
“So, to be welcomed to perform one of the biggest nights in Australia is a huge honour.”
Meanwhile, NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo labelled him the “perfect” musician to perform during rugby league’s showcase night.
“Teddy Swims is one of the most exciting music talents in the world, making him the perfect performer for the NRL Grand Final day,” Abdo said.
