The South East Melbourne Phoenix have reportedly parted ways with coach Mike Kelly.
ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reported the Phoenix’s decision to let go of Kelly after the team’s 0-5 start to the 2024/25 season.
South East Melbourne suffered its fifth-straight loss to open this season at the hands the Brisbane Bullets on Saturday.

Sam Mackinnon will take over as the team’s interim head coach, according to Uluc.
Kelly was in his second season as head coach, with the Phoenix finishing 10th last campaign with an NBL-worst 10-18 record.
