The Bunker is again under fire after missing a blatant knock-on in the build-up to a crucial Jahrome Hughes try in the Storm’s preliminary final win over the Roosters.
With the match evenly poised at 24-18 in the 54th minute Hughes scored his hat-trick sealing try giving the Storm a 12 point lead, but replays showed a blatant knock-on from Storm bench forward Alec MacDonald in the lead-up.
Roosters star Angus Crichton batted the ball back into the hands of Storm forward Eliesa Katoa and Hughes scored off the next play to all but seal the game.

However, before the ball got to Katoa it also appeared to brush MacDonald’s forearm.
“I suppose you could contest that,” Andrew Voss said on Fox League.
“Even the most ardent Melbourne fan would say, what happened there.”
Michael Ennis believes it was a huge missed call, given the Roosters had stormed back from 24-6 down to be within a converted try of levelling the game and had all the momentum at that stage.
“Gee whiz look at the hands there of Alec MacDonald,” Ennis said.
