Three men will face court over the ugly brawl that rocked the NRL on Saturday night.
NSW Police issued a statement on Monday night to confirm three men have been charged with affray in relation to the incident at Shark Park in Cronulla.
Video footage of the incident, which involved up to 10 people, has continued to spread across cyberspace.
The ugly scene has somewhat overshadowed Cronulla’s impressive elimination final win over the Roosters.

The footage showed the brawl occurred at the northern end of the stadium near the so-called “family hill”.

Police will allege the three men assaulted each other during the brawl.
Police said in a statement: “On Saturday 13 September 2025, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were conducting routine patrolling during a football game within the grounds of a stadium in Cronulla.
“Between 8.40pm and 9.05pm a brawl involving up to ten people broke out, where it will be alleged three men have assaulted each other.
“Attending police and security have intervened, as well as some other people in the stadium.
“No serious injuries were reported in relation to this incident.
“Following a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, around 10am today (Monday 15 September 2025) three men attended Sutherland Police Station where they were arrested.
“Two 20-year-old men and a 27-year-old man were charged with affray.
“They have all been granted conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 2 October, 2025.”
As reported by Code Sports, banning notices handed to the three men means they are prohibited from attending NRL venues.
According to the report, a child was allegedly knocked to the ground during the incident.
The NRL issued a statement on Sunday to say the league is working with police to identify those involved.
“All supporters who attend NRL games are subject to the NRL Spectator Code of Conduct,” a league statement read.
“Anyone found breaching the required standards can expect to be subject to significant sanctions, including being banned from venues.”
There were wild scenes at the Cronulla stadium when the home team ended the Roosters’ season with a 20-10 victory.
Sharks prop Toby Rudolf crossed for a try with five minutes remaining to seal the win with just the sixth try of his career. The rare try had players and fans yahooing.
The win improves Cronulla’s finals record under coach Craig Fitzgibbon to 2-5.
There was drama earlier in the night when a turnover led to Ronaldo Mulitalo scoring his second try in the 39th minute.
