The Wests Tigers have received a boost with versatile forward Alex Seyfarth signing a multi-year contract extension to commit to the club long-term.

Watch every game of the 2025 NRL Pre-Season Challenge Live & Exclusive on FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited time offer.

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that forward Alex Seyfarth has signed a new three-year contract extension, securing his future with the club until at least the end of the 2028 season.

A Balmain junior from the Dundas Shamrocks, Seyfarth has been a dedicated member of the squad since making his NRL debut in 2020, accumulating 70 first-grade appearances to date.

“I’m really pleased and excited to have re-signed with this club. It means a lot to me and my family,” said Seyfarth.

“We have a great group here, and I can’t wait to rip in with my teammates for a few more years.”

Wests Tigers Head Coach Benji Marshall praised Seyfarth’s work ethic and commitment.

“We are stoked to have Alex and his family with us long term,” Marshall said.

“He is a great asset to the team, and we love the energy and passion he brings on and off the field.”

In addition to Seyfarth’s extension, Wests Tigers have also secured two of their brightest Pathways talents, Jared Haywood and Christian Taupau-Moors, on long-term deals until at least 2028.

We are extremely proud to secure these young juniors from our Pathways system with the support of the Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies.
