In a boost, Origin stars Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Mo Fotuaika are both set to back up, while a handful of Storm stars will be given a breather.
Hooker Harry Grant has already been omitted alongside winger Xavier Coates, with Bronson Garlick and the returning Jack Howarth taking their places.
Cameron Munster and Trent Loeiro remain in the starting line-up and are expected to remain in the side come kick-off.
