For the back-to-back reigning premiers, Keidean Coleman and Lincoln McCarthy are on the park after long-winded injury recoveries. Coleman has managed two senior games in the past two seasons combined, while McCarthy hasn’t played AFL footy since Round 8, 2024.
Marquee recruit Oscar Allen will appear in Lions colours, with the club to get its first look at the spearhead forward — though he won’t be alongside the absent Logan Morris — while top draftee Dan Annable is also set to play.
Brisbane and Carlton will clash from 6.00pm AEDT (5.00pm local time). They will play four 30-minute quarters with no time on and extended benches.
