Two allegedly armed men were arrested inside the MCG during Thursday night’s clash between Collingwood and Carlton.
The Age first reported two men were found with a pair of loaded guns each hidden down their pants as part of the 82,058-strong crowd to see the Magpies beat the Blues.

“Police were called by security at the MCG to assist with two males refusing to leave the venue due to their behaviour,” Victoria Police said.
“As a consequence, police have arrested two males and during a search it is alleged two firearms were located on each of these males.
“A 21-year-old Roxburgh Park man and a 37-year-old Broadmeadows man are currently in custody being interviewed.”
A significant police presence was then seen outside the ground as fans left.
It is unclear how the pair bypassed security with the weapons on them.
