The tenth edition of the Women’s Big Bash League has arrived.
The world’s best cricketers touch down on Australian shores this week for the annual T20 tournament, which has been reduced to 40 matches and get underway at Adelaide Oval this weekend.
Having won the previous two edition of the competition, the Adelaide Strikers are hoping to become the first franchise, men’s or women’s, to secure a three-peat of Big Bash titles.
Meanwhile, the WBBL received a timely boost with confirmation that 77 per cent of this year’s matches would feature the DRS, a significant increase from 41 per cent last year.
