According to Code Sports, Queensland premier David Crisafulli gave the Broncos permission to fly home following discussions with Brisbane supremo Dave Donaghy.
However, their trip could be a long one, with Brisbane airport closed due to the threat of Cyclone Alfred.
Instead of flying to that airport, the charter flight will travel to Toowoomba and board a bus, taking a two-hour trip back to the club’s Red Hill base.
Brisbane’s Thursday night clash with the Roosters will finish at 9:45pm in NSW, with their flight expected to be boarded at 11pm.

The chartered flight comes amid fears for the families of players as the cyclone approaches Queensland shores.
“Our CEO Dave Donaghy has been on the phone to the Premier and we have permission for a charter flight,” a Broncos spokesperson said to News Corp.
“We have been in touch with disaster authorities to say we want to get home as soon as possible.
“We will stay here (in Sydney) if we need to, but the plan is to return home tonight on a charter flight.”
