Japan’s Obamburumai won the $10 million Golden Eagle at Sydney’s Rosehill on Saturday.
The race was the gelding’s first in Australia and, ridden by Josh Parr and trained by Keiji Yoshimura, it was successful in holding off Pericles and Golden Mile.
The race was worth $10 million in prize money despite only starting in 2019.
