The first ball is set to be bowled at 4.15pm local time (7.15pm AEDT) on Sunday, January 25.

HOW DID THE TEAMS QUALIFY?
Perth, after getting the best of Sydney in the Qualifier, claimed hosting rights on the game’s biggest day — with a sell-out Scorchers-dominant crowd forecast in the west.
The Scorchers, who on Sunday will make their ninth grand final appearance, host the Big Bash decider for a record sixth time — and second at Optus Stadium. They are 5-3 overall in BBL grand finals.
Meanwhile, the Sixers are into their eighth BBL grand final in 15 years after eliminating reigning champion Hobart in the Challenger on Friday night.

WHAT’S THE WEATHER FORECAST?
Despite scorching temperatures around the country, it’s not going to be boiling in Perth on Sunday; set for around 25 degrees Celsius in the afternoon, according to AccuWeather.
The forecast also says, however, that there’s a near-50 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.
