What time does the Bathurst 1000 race actually start?

Australia’s biggest motor race is finally here.

The 61st edition of the Bathurst 1000 will be the tenth race of the Supercars season, with the highly-anticipated event getting underway on Sunday.

Reigning Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki claimed the 2024 Bathurst 1000 pole position after a stellar drive pipped rival Cam Waters for Sunday’s Great Race.

Kostecki becomes the first driver since Garth Tander back in 2009 to go back-to-back on pole at Mount Panorama after blitzing the field with his 2.05.511 in Saturday’s Top 10 Shootout.

The 161-lap event starts from 11.30am AEDT on Sunday.
