Time is running out for English Premier League clubs to finalise their big moves with the northern hemisphere summer transfer window slamming shut at 4am AEST on Tuesday 2 September.
The window will close four hours earlier than normal, at 7pm on September 1 UK time, to make things easier on club staff.
Clubs are afforded a two-hour grace period after the deadline to complete deals with fellow English clubs, as long as paperwork is lodged before the cut-off time.

That means if deals like Alexander Isak’s desire to join Liverpool from Newcastle go down to the wire, they could be completed in the early hours of Tuesday morning AEST.
Moves for players from leagues from other countries have a longer grace period, usually until midnight UK time (9am AEST).
The transfer window for Europe’s other top leagues – La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 – closes at the same time as the Premier League, meaning paperwork must be submitted by 4am AEST on Tuesday.
Players making a move to Saudi Arabia have more time to finalise their moves, however, with the Saudi Pro League’s transfer window closing on Wednesday 10 September.
If deals cannot be reached by the deadline, players and clubs alike will have to wait for another chance to do during the January transfer window, which opens on New Year’s Day and closes on February 2.
