Brisbane are coming off a 20-10 loss to the Roosters — an emotional couple of weeks after star five-eighth Ezra Mam was the victim of a racial slur last round.
In a handy boost for coach Kevin Walters, Brendan Piakura returns after missing Round 1 due to a concussion and skipper Adam Reynolds is good to go after copping a knock to the knee.
Meanwhile, the Rabbitohs have had to reshuffle their pack after it was revealed Jai Arrow is set for a lengthy sideline stint due to a shoulder injury.
Young gun Tallis Duncan was initially named in Arrow’s place however in a late change by coach Jason Demetriou Shaq Mitchell was promoted to start on the edge with 21-year-old Duncan dropping back to the bench.
In another change made by Demetriou, Round 1 debutant Jacob Gagai has been dropped with Taane Milne replacing him on the wing.
