Perth recruited Kiwi opening batsmen Finn Allen with their overseas pre-signing, with the 25-year-old renowned as one of the world’s most destructive players.
Ashton Turner will once again lead the Scorchers, who boast a ridiculously stacked bowling line-up that includes Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye, Lance Morris and Jason Behrendorff.
Meanwhile, the Stars drafted in English bowling all-rounder Tom Curran as their overseas pre-signing, having previously spent time at the Sixers.
Aussie gun Marcus Stoinis is Melbourne’s captain, being flanked by the versatile Beau Webster, English weapon Joe Clarke and rising seamer Brody Couch.
