Pies gamble on third-gamer as four big names OUT of Easter Thursday blockbuster — Round 4 Teams

Four key players have been forced out of the Easter Thursday blockbuster with Brisbane and Collingwood to open a much-anticipated Round 4.

The Magpies are without captain Darcy Moore (knee/hamstring) and club great Scott Pendlebury (Achilles), while the Lions have lost defensive pair Darcy Gardiner (shoulder) and Noah Answerth (concussion).

Craig McRae has called on 28-year-old midfielder Lachie Sullivan and third-gamer Will Hayes to bolster his side for the now-traditional clash.

Meanwhile Brisbane adds Darragh Joyce and James Tunstill to the line-up that downed St Kilda for their first win of the season last week.
