The AAMI Community Series gets underway as Carlton will try and back up a promising start to 2026 with a new-look side when it hosts Geelong at Ikon Park in the clubs’ final tune ups for the season proper.
The Blues are coming off an exciting 15-point win over reigning back-to-back premier Brisbane in last week’s match simulation in a game Carlton unveiled its array of new faces including an impressive showing from Jagga Smith ahead of the former No. 3 pick’s AFL debut.
Carlton skipper Patrick Cripps returns from Origin duties and Michael Voss has again picked Elijah Hollands and Wade Derksen. But Adam Cerra (hamstring) will miss and Nic Newman remains out in his comeback from a serious knee issue.

Geelong, who fell to Hawthorn last week, regains Patrick Dangerfield, Max Holmes, Tom Stewart and Lawson Humphries from Origin duties in addition to Mark Blicavs, Shaun Mannagh, Jack Martin, Zach Guthrie and Tanner Bruhn.
However Jeremy Cameron (quad), Bailey Smith (calf) and Gryan Miers (thumb) are absent and racing the clock to be fit for Opening Round.
This match gets underway at 7.10pm AEDT from Ikon Park.
