The Bulldogs have previously been in talks with May’s brother and Roosters forward Terrell, who is also entering the final year of his deal, about a switch to Belmore as early as 2024.
May debuted for the Panthers in 2021, before scoring 16 tries in 21 games for the Panthers on his way to a premiership win in 2022.
However, an ACL injury in the 2023 World Club Challenge saw him rubbed out of all last season as Sunia Turuva took over his wing spot at Penrith won a third straight title.
The Bulldogs want to sit down with May if he is serious at exploring his options.
