Iga Swiatek will hope for a far easier match than her last start when she takes to Rod Laver Arena to kick off the night session tonight. Live updates!
The world number one was a double break down in the final set against Danielle Collins on Thursday before a stunning recovery saw her book a spot in the third round, where she’ll face Czech Linda Noskova.
Swiatek defeated Noskova in Warsaw last year in straightforward fashion and a spot in her fifth consecutive Australian Open fourth round beckons if she can win.

On Margaret Court Arena, Felix Auger-Aliassime will take on Daniil Medvedev in a rematch of their 2022 classic, which saw Medvedev recover from a two-set deficit to prevail.
Ironically, Medvedev pulled off that same feat in his last match, winning against Emil Ruusuvuori after four hours and 21 minutes, with the match finishing at 3:40AM.
The winner of their match will likely face 13th seed Grigor Dimitrov for a spot in the quarterfinals.
Also in action on the top courts are No.6 seed Alexander Zverev, who continues to play under a cloud of his looming trial for domestic violence accusations, and No.19 seed Elina Svitolina.
