Five-eighth Ethan Strange is out after falling ill overnight, with the Raiders confirming in a statement that Simi Sasagi would come into the starting side to take his place with Matty Nicholson joining the bench.
For the Sharks, prop Thomas Hazelton returns from a knee injury.
Back rower Briton Nikora again comes off the bench.
Much has been made this week about the struggles of Raiders half Jamal Fogarty in the clutch against the Broncos last Sunday.
Already under the microscope, the importance of Fogarty’s role doubles with his halves partner out.
Premiership winning halfback Cooper Cronk believes Fogarty needs to have the game of his life.
“This is the biggest game of his career. Absolutely the biggest game of his career,” Cronk said.
“Pressure makes you do crazy and bad things sometimes but pressure can also lift your name up in lights.
“His side needs leadership after the loss last week and no Ethan Strange.”
“What I want to see from him tonight is to get his kicking game right and his defence has to be on,” Kieran Foran added.
