The Super Netball 2025 season has officially wrapped for all eight teams, with nine players dubbed MVPs.
The Sunshine Coast Lightning were the only side to record a tie for their top gong, while there was history made at the West Coast Fever as star import Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard claimed her seventh straight crown.

Only Courtney Bruce back in 2018 has been able to deny Fowler-Nembhard the Stacey Marinkovich Medal since her arrival at the club.
Despite missing the opening two rounds, the Jamaican was a runaway winner on a night where Fever coach Dan Ryan paid a teary tribute to star Shanice Beckford, who has been overlooked for the 2026 season.
“Shout out to Shanny … be as proud of yourself and all you have achieved this year as we as proud of you,” Ryan told the crowd on Saturday night – only days after Beckford’s exit was confirmed.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure having you on our team the past two years. Watching you grow and live your dream (speech paused as Ryan’s voice starts to break) playing SSN netball, you are one of a kind Shanny and we all absolutely adore you.
“You are all grace and gratitude and you’ll always have a very special place in the Fever family’s heart and history. Big clap for Shanny guys.”
The moment was met with loud applause from those in attendance. It’s since been confirmed the Fever have signed their grand final MVP Sasha Glasgow instead of Beckford.
Speaking after her win, Fowler-Nembhard dismissed any speculation around her future as she sets her sights on the two upcoming world netball events.
“Oh listen, age is just a number. It’s what you do with your body,” she smiled.
“Keep my body fit and ready to go out there and if I can go as long as I want to, I will.
“I can make it beyond the World Cup – what are you talking about (laughs).
“I am hoping I’m staying too. Let’s see what the Fever does.”
While disappointed not to come away with the 2025 Super Netball premiership, Fowler-Nembhard sent a warning to the rest of the competition.
“We did not get the championship but we did some amazing things and I’m really proud of my teammates,” she said.
“Definitely I can keep improving. Listen, I’m not as versed on the supershot yet and once I’m on that, they cannot stop me (laughs).
“I reckon we can (go one better).”
In other medal results, Jamie-Lee Price capped off her Giants career with a third straight MVP win, while Kiwi star Grace Nweke swept the Swifts awards in her debut season.
Remarkably, Tara Hinchliffe swept the Lightning awards, winning both the Players’ Player and Team Spirit awards, which were presented after her exit from the club was confirmed.
