Harley Reid will run out in front of the West Coast home faithful for the very first time against a red-hot Giants side looking to avenge last year’s fixture at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The Eagles (0-1, 58.3%) were trumped by Port Adelaide last Sunday, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort from Adam Simpson’s young brigade.
GWS (2-0, 141.4%), meanwhile, enters this fixture after losing last year’s iteration by 19 points to a lowly Eagles outfit.

West Coast was rocked this week by disappointing news that co-captain and star forward Oscar Allen would miss up to two months of football due to bone stress.
Despite playing out the Eagles’ Round 1 bout with the Power unaffected, scans following the game confirmed the unfortunate setback.
It adds to a few pre-existing concerns for West Coast, as recruit Matt Flynn (knee, seven-to-nine weeks) won’t play against his former GWS teammates.
There haven’t been any new injury developments for the Giants, with veteran midfielder Callan Ward (shoulder) and running defender Isaac Cumming (calf) remaining sidelined in the medium term.
This match gets underway at 6:50pm AEDT from Optus Stadium.
