Ezra Mam has reportedly been issued a notice to appear in court with police to allege the Broncos star failed a secondary drug test following a car accident in Brisbane last month.

Mam was allegedly driving unlicensed when he veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided head on with an Uber driver on October 18.
A mother and her young daughter suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Mam allegedly failed a roadside drug test and was arrested at scene.
The 21-year-old then reportedly returned a positive result for a secondary drug test on November 12 where he has been charged with driving while a relevant drug is present in blood and driving unlicensed.
According to The Courier Mail, Mam will face court on December 16.
Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy confirmed on Wednesday that the club had been informed of the latest development.
“The club was notified this afternoon that charges have now been laid,” Donaghy told The Courier Mail.
“We will respect the legal process and will continue to work with the NRL Integrity Unit on next steps, as this matter moves forward.
“Ezra is currently seeking external support and we will give him the time and space to do so.
“As the matter is now before the courts, we are unable to make further comment on this matter.”
The Broncos are reportedly expecting Mam to receive a two to three month suspension from the NRL, meaning he won’t be available until May.
The five-eighth is currently in rehab but has been in contact with the club.
The NRL have said he won’t be deregistered and the Broncos are also reluctant to sack Mam.
Broncos coach Michael Maguire spoke to Mam before he entered rehab and the Broncos coach is hoping the star playmaker can reform and work his way back from Queensland Cup.
“I’ve been in the game for a long time and seen many players go through many different situations,” Maguire said.
“People will make mistakes but they’ve also got to own them. That’s the big thing.
“If Ezra owns where he’s at … his actions moving forward are very important.
“He’s getting some help. When he works through that, I’ll get some time with him and assess how everything’s going.”
