The Broncos are fresh after enjoying a week off for defeating Canberra in a thriller a fortnight ago, while the Panthers are taking the long route to a potential grand final.

If the Panthers can beat the Broncos today then go on and defeat Melbourne in next week’s decider, they will become the first team since the 1995 Bulldogs to win the comp from outside of the top four.
The Broncos will welcome back three huge inclusions but will also be without Pat Carrigan and Billy Walters.
Halves Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam return from hamstring injuries. Reynolds will captain the side in the No. 7 jersey while Mam is set to be injected off the bench in the back end of the first half.
Powerhouse forward Xavier Willison returns from an arm injury and his presence will be needed in Carrigan’s absence.
One of the game’s most important battles will be Nathan Cleary’s kicking game against Broncos fullback Reece Walsh.
Walsh is in rare form, looking like the best player in the competition over the past month or so. Brisbane simply don’t win in Canberra without him.
However, a couple of Walsh’s defensive deficiencies were noted during the week and Cleary is sure to try and exploit the Broncos superstar.
