Fonti is challenging a one-match suspension for rough conduct after a late, high bump on Sydney’s Isaac Heeney.
It was graded as careless with medium impact and high contact.
The Noble incident was graded the same way after he collected Essendon’s Tom Edwards.
That knock sparked the controversial decision for the AFL Review Centre to withdraw Edwards from the game for a concussion test, despite Essendon’s doctor having already ticked off his condition.
