Seibold has landed a surprise role at Collingwood.
The 51-year-old revealed his new gig in an interview on Channel 7’s Agenda Setters: Rugby League program.
“The last couple of weeks I’ve been doing a little bit of work for Collingwood. I know the head coach (Craig McRae) very well,” Seibold said.
“I’ve been done there a couple of times so I’m going to have a small role there for the rest of the season.”

Leading AFL reporter Mitch Cleary provided further context around Seibold’s appointment on social media site X.
Cleary wrote that Seibold will work with the club’s coaches and football department staff in a part-time role, assisting with their off-field development.
Seibold was sacked by the Sea Eagles just three rounds into the NRL season after a winless 0-3 start.
