EAGLES KNOCK BACK BLUES’ PICK 3 OFFER
West Coast has knocked back Carlton’s offer of picks 12 and 14 for Pick 3, according to Perth journalist Ryan Daniels.
It means the Eagles, who own selections 3, 26 63 and 68, will explore other options to facilitate deals for Tom Barrass and Liam Baker.
West Coast’s plans were thrown out after Hawthorn and Carlton completed a trade for Pick 14, which the Eagles had been targeting in the Barrass to then forward to Richmond for Baker.
The Blues are eyeing a top three selection in hopes of landing of the premium midfield prospect in this draft such as Finn O’Sullivan, who’s cousins with Sam Walsh, Sam Lalor, Harvey Langford and Sid Draper.

SAINTS DECIDE AGAINST SOLDO PURSUIT
St Kilda will no longer pursue Port Adelaide ruckman Ivan Soldo due to “sensitivities around his medical history,” reports Nine’s Tom Morris.
The Saints had been considering Soldo on a three-year deal to pair with Rowan Marshall as the big man seeks trade back to Victoria one season after moving to Alberton.
However Morris reports St Kilda has pulled out of the running due to concerns around the 28-year old’s knee following “past list decisions with injured players.”
It’s believed Soldo is happy to remain at the Power, where he’s contracted until 2026.
