With the vacant featherweight title on the line, former champion Alexander Volkanovski and rival Diego Lopes will lock horns at UFC 314 this weekend.
Australian Volkanovski, who recorded five successful title defences between 2020 and 2023, has not entered the Octagon since he lost the belt to Ilia Topuria last February, but the Georgian-Spanish fighter relinquished the title in February to move up to lightweight. Lopes, meanwhile, looms as a dangerous threat, fresh off a five-fight win streak.
Elsewhere, England’s Paddy Pimblett, undefeated in the UFC, will fight America’s Michael Chandler in the co-main event.
UFC 314 gets underway at Miami’s Kaseya Center this Sunday morning AEST.

The early prelims get underway at 8am AEST before the prelims at 10am and the main card at 12pm.
Pending how long the other fights take, Volkanovski and Lopes should enter the Octagon at approximately 2.30pm.
