Geelong is looking to prove it has returned as a premiership contender against an emerging flag threat in Port Adelaide as the pair square off on Thursday night to open Round 14.
The Power (11-2, 117%) have gone undefeated since losing their opening two matches, most recently defeating the Western Bulldogs on the road by 22 points.
The Cats (6-6, 118.9%) have been sporadic in their premiership defence, but have regained Patrick Dangerfield, Mitch Duncan and Max Holmes for the Thursday night clash.

Port Adelaide made a late change ahead of the final teams being announced, with Quinton Narkle to replace Junior Rioli (flu) to make his debut for the club a fortnight after getting picked up in the mid-season draft.
Geelong then made a late change with ruckman Jon Ceglar (adductor) replaced by Zach Tuohy – despite the fact ruckman Rhys Stanley was available as an emergency too.
The subs were Riley Bonner (Port Adelaide) and Jack Bowes (Geelong).
This match gets underway at 7:40pm AEST from Adelaide Oval.
