The upstart Washington Commanders will be out to shock the NFL world and progress to the Super Bowl with a win over fierce rivals Philadelphia in the NFC Championship game this morning.

Washington finished with the second worst record in the league last season and underwent a rebuild, drafting rookie QB Jayden Daniels and hiring a new coach and general manager.
The facelift has worked wonders though, with the Commanders’ Cinderella story continuing in the postseason with the No. 6 seed recording two upset wins including one over NFC’s No. 1 seeded Detroit Lions last weekend.
The Eagles enter this game heavy favourites on the back of a strong defence and excellent running game led by superstar Saquon Barkley, who ran for 205 yards and two long touchdowns in the win over the Rams.
Given their division rivals, it will be the third time this season these two teams will meet. In Week 11 the Eagles were victorious 26-18 while the Commanders got revenge in Week 16 with a thrilling 36-33 win.
