Western Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has again been caught up in a police investigation, this time involving a shooting at a Melbourne nightclub.
Shots were fired outside Prahran’s Love Machine venue early on Sunday morning, the nightclub having been targeted by alleged motorcycle gang members over previous weekends.
But multiple outlets have reported Ugle-Hagan was at the venue at the time, and investigators are probing his involvement and whether his associates are linked to the event.

“It’s understood he was with a friend when a verbal altercation broke out,” Nine’s Tom Morris reported.
“It’s unclear what involvement (if any) he has in the incident but is not accused of any wrongdoing.”
Love Machine has been plagued by violence in recent years. In April a man was stabbed to death after reportedly being chased from the venue while two men were killed in a drive-by shooting there in 2019.
Sunday morning’s event is just the latest off-field incident involving Ugle-Hagan this year, after he took leave from the Bulldogs, though he was cleared of any wrongdoing over his car’s usage in an alleged drive-by shooting.
He has returned to training at times across the season though it looks certain he will not feature at AFL level in 2025.
