Pat Cummins and his wife Becky have welcomed the birth of their second child, a baby girl.
The couple announced the happy news on Instagram on Saturday that Becky had given birth to a baby girl named Edi.
“She’s here,” they wrote alongside a photo of Becky holding their daughter in hospital.
“Our beautiful baby girl, Edi. Words can’t describe how overjoyed & full of love we feel right now.”

They also shared a beautiful photo of one of their first outings with the baby to the beach.
Pat and Becky announced their pregnancy in August last year.
They welcomed their first child, a son named Albie, in October 2021.
Cummins is on paternity leave and has missed the two-Test series currently in progress against Sri Lanka to be at home for the birth while also he also manages an ankle injury.
Australia had already secured a spot in June’s World Test Championship Final against South Africa thanks to a 3-1 series win over India to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Cummins and fellow paceman Josh Hazlewood are not expected to recover from injuries in time for the ICC Champions Trophy ODI tournament beginning in Pakistan later this month.
Marcus Stoinis also won’t be part of the squad after announcing his retirement from ODI cricket.
Mitchell Marsh has also been ruled out of the tournament with a back injury.

Hazlewood, who won the Shane Warne Test Player of the Year Award on Monday night, is understood to be battling an issue separate to the side strain and calf injury that ended his Aussie summer.
Mitchell Starc has played both Test matches in Sri Lanka with a three-pronged spin attack.
“At the moment Pat Cummins hasn’t been able to resume any type of bowling, so he’s heavily unlikely,” McDonald told SEN.
“That would mean we do need a captain – Steve Smith and Travis Head are the two we have been having conversations with while we’ve been building out that Champions Trophy team with Pat back home.
“They’ll be the two we’ll look at for that leadership post, we’ve got to get through the next Test match to see where everyone is at, but they’re the two obvious ones.
“Steve has done a great job here in the Test match, he’s done some good work in One-Day International cricket across the journey as well.
“Patty is hugely unlikely, which is a bit of a shame, and we’ve also got Josh Hazlewood, who is battling at the moment.
Steve Smith is acting as stand-in captain in Cummins’ absence and the 35-year-old has rediscovered his best form in Sri Lanka, breaking all sorts of cricket records.
Smith reached the 10,000 run milestone in the first Test, scoring 141 before backing that up with his 36th Test century in the second Test on Friday.
On Day 1, Smith took his 197th catch in Test cricket, surpassing Ricky Ponting’s all-time mark for the most by an Australian non-wicketkeeper.
Only Kallis, Mahela Jayawardene, Root and Dravid have taken more catches among non-wicketkeepers.
Batting on Day 2, Smith also overtook Ponting (1889) for the most runs scored by an Australia in Tests in the Asian subcontinent.
