Thetutorpages.com has launched a new tutor jobs board for academic, languages and music tutors in the UK. The innovative system allows parents, students and organisations such as schools to request tutors in real time. Anyone interested in these opportunities can then reply directly to the tuition requests.
The new ‘Tutors Wanted’ board harnesses the social media website Twitter to spread the word about private tuition requests. Interested teachers can follow The Tutor Pages on Twitter to receive real-time updates on work opportunities.
The Tutor Pages
Jobs are posted for a diverse array of subjects, ranging from academic and music tuition, adult language learning and other kinds of one-to-one or small group lessons such as art classes.
“We already run a successful directory of private teachers in the UK,” said Henry Fagg, Director of The Tutor Pages. “However, we were struggling to deal with opportunities our registered tutors could not fulfil. With the new ‘Tutors Wanted’ facility, we’re now able to work effectively with both supply and demand.”
