On a high after ending the Scorchers’ 11-game win streak last Friday, the Adelaide Strikers will be out to go back-to-back when they play host to the Hobart Hurricanes.
The Strikers lowering the colours of the defending champs was quite the upset, considering Adelaide entered the game on a four-match losing streak.
Not only did the Strikers win, they did it with a leg in the air as big-hitting pair of Matt Short and Chris Lynn blasted unbeaten half-centuries to lead their team to a nine wicket win.

It was a much needed result for the Strikers, who still likely need to win their remaining three games to progress to the finals.
The Hurricanes are one point ahead of the Strikers, and with a win tonight, will move into fourth spot on the table.
Hobart will take confidence out of their brutal last-ball loss to the unbeaten Heat on Sunday, even though it was a game that slipped through their hands.
