MATCH PREVIEW
Test stars Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne return as the Brisbane Heat host the Perth Scorchers in a blockbuster top of the table clash at The Gabba.
The Heat won the bat flip and will bat first.
The unbeaten Heat are three points clear on top of the table and locked in for finals coming off a thrilling win over the Hurricanes.
The second placed Scorchers beat the Thunder in their last clash and can lock up a top two spot with a win in their next two clashes against the Heat.
Khawaja and Labuschagne will make a difference for the Heat, but Colin Munro and Josh Brown have been in great form at the top of the order, while Michael Neser and Spencer Johnson will lead the charge with the ball.
For the Scorchers Zak Crawley and Aaron Hardie have been in hot form with the bat, while Josh Inglis is another one to watch and Ashton Agar and Jhye Richardson have been good form with the ball.
It sets the scene for an epic clash between two of the BBL13 heavyweights as finals approaches in a replay of last year’s grand final.
