Shane Warne continues to prove he had one of the greatest cricket brains the sport has ever encountered.
The late Australian Spin King delivered once again, with a tweet from seven years ago resurfacing on Monday.

Travis Head wrote his name into the record books after completing one of the great World Cup innings to guide Australia to World Cup glory.
Australia claimed a six-wicket victory with 42 balls still remaining but the result was anything but easy.
After the Aussies faltered early in the run chase it was Head who saved the day with a masterful innings that few saw coming.
Head entered the World Cup campaign under a serious cloud having suffered a broken hand, with questions raised about his spot in the Australian side from the outset.
But one man saw it coming long, long before anybody else. The great Shane Warne.
A Warnie tweet from December, 2016 began doing the rounds on social media after Head’s heroics and it shows just how far ahead of the game he was.
“I’m a big fan of Travis Head as a cricketer, I believe he will be a future star for Australia in all forms of the game,” the tweet read.
We really shouldn’t be surprised by the absurdity of the leg-spin superstar, as he displayed his Nostradamus like abilities constantly throughout his illustrious career.
In 2011 while playing for the Melbourne Stars, Warnie predicted how he was going to dismiss Brendon McCullum live on air … moments later he delivered.
Back in 2018 he used his foresight to predict three wickets on the fourth day of the first Test between India and Australia.
Arguably his greatest prediction of all however came during the 1999 Cricket World Cup when he correctly predicted Herschelle Gibbs’ infamous dropped catch that cost South Africa the trophy.
“The craziest thing about that is the night before in the team meeting, Warnie said ‘if you hit the ball to Herschelle Gibbs, and he catches it, don’t leave your crease, just stay there for a bit’,” Adam Gilchrist said on Fox Cricket’s Miracle of 99 podcast.
“We all thought ‘you are nuts Warnie’. He was Nostradamus.”
While Warnie saw it coming, not even Head could have predicted the wild ride he was set to embark on during the World Cup Final.
He further enhanced his reputation as a big-game player, adding the World Cup Final player of the match to his player of the match in the semi-final against South Africa and the World Test Championship Final, which was also against India.
“What an amazing day. Just thrilled to be a part of it,” Head said.
Asked about how it feels to be on the list of Aussie World Cup Final centurions alongside Aussie legends Gilchrist and Ponting, Head laughed: “I’m definitely third on that list.
“It’s a nice one to join. Again, just nice to be here and it’s nice to contribute. Yeah, like I just said to the boys, I’m looking forward to the reunion.”
